So Justin, welcome to Big Ticket Pros. So what is the best piece of advice you would give to someone just starting out in your industry? [00:01:37] Speaker B: Someone just starting out. First thing you gotta do is you gotta surround yourself with your right tribe, so you gotta build your strategic partnerships, but not informal partnerships. Like you gotta find the right people, the right businesses that can compliment what you're doing to provide a value added service. Then you can start leveraging their network, their audiences, their clientele, things like that, and they can do the same with you. And so building strategic partnerships is one of the first things I tell any of the companies that I work with, any, any entrepreneurs that I'm working with that hasn't even launched yet. That's the very first thing we look at is let's put together an entire industry matrix and start analyzing where can we build some formal strategic partnerships with accountability, with metrics so we can start making data driven decisions specifically to impact and grow our business. [00:02:26] Speaker A: You know, I think that is something very important because I've seen a lot of entrepreneurs who are solopreneurs and they wear many hats and you can only do so much. Recently we, we have a big team and we realized, well, we met someone who complimented what we do and we compliment what he does. And that has helped us grow a lot. So you're saying surround yourself with the right people. What would be an advice that you can give for people to find the right people that they need to find? How do you know? [00:03:11] Speaker B: So I started doing, I mean, it goes back to market research again. Data driven analytics within market research, also running competitor competitor analyses, things like that. So you may have somebody who may not be a direct competitor, they may be an indirect competitor. You know, is there a way for you to build a complimentary complementary service together, things like that, you know, where they already have market reach, but maybe you have a new, you know, version 2.0 of what they have, or they have an innovative model. That's something that you're working on, you know, but in the same, the same mindset is running your competitive intelligence models helps you to identify gaps in the market. So now you can actually research the market in the industry to see who's going at after this. Well, maybe they don't have a product or service yet, but you're a little bit closer than they are. But teaming up, you can get to that starting line that much faster together, you know, there's more than enough opportunities out there for people to team up on. And so what I'm trying to get people to understand is team early, team with the right people and team the right way. So this way, you know, like I said, data drive, data driven decision making. So that way we can identify who we need to be working with, who we need to be going after, and what do we need to be providing to that industry. [00:04:27] Speaker A: Awesome. What are some of the techniques that you have used to do market research and identify those gaps so that you can fill them in your business? [00:04:39] Speaker B: So I mean, so I mean in the last two years, with the birth in public access AI, market research has really changed so much. But it's not as simple as going to, you know, claw or chat GPT and saying, who are my competitors? Who are, who should I partner with? People need to really understand emulation philosophy, emulation theory and prompt philosophy, not just prompt engineering. You hear people talk about that a lot and it's, you know, a good way to construct a prompt. But if you don't understand AI and you don't understand the philosophies behind it, you know, it leaves you still lacking quite a bit. And so, you know, understanding how to use AI helps you to understand within your business, treating it as a human. So humanizing AI to be your market researcher, to be your business development manager, things like that, that can inform you on what you're looking for. So, you know, it's kind of the old adage of, you know, students doing dissertations go and spend all their time in the library researching. Well, now we can just research that much, that much faster using a new tool. So you're still doing the same work, it's just a different method of doing it. And so we need to be smarter about how we do research. Because with open access AI or public access AI available to every business owner in the world now, the competitive landscape is only increasing. So this is why I tell people to team early on, get into strategic partnerships, get into joint ventures early as possible. Because now you can build your competitive team in, across all of the people in your JV or your team or your strategic partnerships, they're all doing the same thing. So now you have regular huddles and you're identifying additional partners, you're building a consortium, things like that, if that's the direction that your business goes. And from what I've seen, most people are more interested in collaboration and teaming. And so leveraging that AI that's available out there and training it the right way, training it early on to identify this really helps. And then you can run on, you know, a analysis model. I have a few of them that I leverage that can score and rate prospective teaming partners or strategic partners as well. [00:06:50] Speaker A: Do you have any suggestion on how to train AI correctly for what you're doing, as you mentioned? And also, can you talk to me a little bit about those terms that you mentioned, Emulation philosophy and theory? [00:07:08] Speaker B: Yeah. So while prompt engineering is, you know, how to construct a prompt, prompt philosophy is more of understanding what each part of a prompt does with AI and with the human interaction. And so with conversational AI, you know, you have to understand how it works. And that's where, you know, I found humanizing it actually works really well. Because if I want it to perform like a human, I should treat it, talk to it, train it, raise it up like a human, and then it will perform like a human, you know, because it really is just a computing process based off of what we tell it to do. And so emulation philosophy is something I speak on a lot, is what do I want? What do I want this bot to, to do for me? Do I want it to be, you know, a best selling author? Do I want it to be the number one motivational speaker? I can train a bot to be Tony Robbins, you know, and so it's like using emulation philosophy is now I can actually train A bot understanding, you know, how AI works through philosophy understanding, but also through emulation. Philosophy is now training it to emulate a certain person, a certain role, a certain performance, things like that, certain measures and tasks. Emulation allows us naturally, when we use that within our business to emulate larger businesses, even. So now we can emulate the productivity or emulate larger business functions which increases our productivity and profitability overall. So by entrepreneurs and startups understanding this and integrating it in early on, they actually start getting to that level of productivity and profitability that most businesses don't see for two or three years much, much sooner because they're starting to understand how to leverage revolutionary technology in a business administration way rather than, you know, I mean, yeah, it can generate marketing content and things like that. Like that's great, but it can do so much more. It can build your models, it can build your forecast, it can build your scenarios. There's so much that it can do for your customers even. [00:09:17] Speaker A: Interesting. So Justin, tell us about who you serve and how people can reach out to you. [00:09:22] Speaker B: Yeah, absolutely. So I work with a lot of entrepreneurs in the startup and the small to medium business space. So if somebody has an idea for a business, they most time they have a great, great idea for a widget or a service or a new revolutionary product and they want to learn how to take what I've learned over the years in corporate strategy and we bring it down to the small startup business level. So make it achievable, attainable and implementable very early on so that your company is built to grow to scale. Everybody I've met with so far wants to build a business to scale, so that's good. And then very industry agnostic. We've done this in medical, higher education, public defense, manufacturing, tech, you name it even works with fashion companies and laundromats. And so you know, it comes down to corporate strategies and growth models leveraging AI to build strategic business operations. So we tell people, we help you build your business so you can scale it and build a better life. Easy way to find us. I've got my LinkedIn right here, LinkedIn.com in forward/ Justin Spears.
