Thank you. And as a private lender on Dirt and how and now part of an industry disrupting operation. Zero marketing 100 referral based company with over 530 loyal long long term mom and pop investors. No cold calls in over 20 years. So Brandon, welcome to Big Ticket Pros. [00:01:20] Speaker B: Thank you for having me. [00:01:22] Speaker A: Thank you so much for being here. So what is the best piece of advice you would give to someone just starting out in your industry? [00:01:29] Speaker B: Be willing to do what 90% of the other people won't do. And you know, once you're in this industry you can choose to never sleep, but you definitely have to choose to work the hours that nobody else would typically work and never let a call, email, text, DM, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, whatever go unanswered in the same day period. And that's how you build a long term loyal base of customers. [00:02:02] Speaker A: I think that's a really great advice. But let me ask you, how are you able to manage all of that? [00:02:12] Speaker B: It's not easy. [00:02:14] Speaker A: That's what I'm asking. [00:02:15] Speaker B: How you know I when you get this age you don't need as much sleep and if I get five hours, I'm fully refreshed, I wake up and brain just firing on all cylinders. Luckily I office from home so it may be three, four or five o' clock in the morning, never later than five. But I come down to my office, let my eyes adjust, take my daily regimen of, you know, vitamins and supplements, crack open my Rockstar drink and know because you know, because you got to, right? And basically I go and tackle all the things for my task list from the day before, look into my emails, get rid of the the garbage, you know, highlight the stuff that needs to be tackled. And I do a lot of the things that don't require me to have regular follow up in those time periods when everybody else is sleeping. I get more done from 4am to 9am than most people get done in a day. And then I still tackle everything that comes in and I'm able to respond to every email, call or text that comes in during the day while I still manage to tackle that inbox list. And inbox management is really key for me because if I have an email that comes in and I answer it, I then delete it because that means I took care of what I need to take care of and now it's on the other person on the other end. If they have more questions, that keeps my inbox clean. And if it's something that's a priority, it's going to take me a little while to tackle, then I'll reply back, hey, I'll get to this. Let me give you about 24, 48 hours and I'll answer it. But I still shoot something back to them that allows me to get up and tackle that the next day in the hours where nobody else is calling, emailing and texting me. It's just all about time management and it's. And you can answer every call, email or text that comes in every day. It's not hard. Most people just don't want to put in the effort. You know, call comes in, they don't think about to get distracted, they go and do something else or they're in the middle of a task. Well, I have post it notes everywhere. I don't believe in putting notes in a file or in a folder and locking away in the computer because it's not visible. I don't see it. The end of the day I take all of my post it notes and I write them down on a list. What did I not get to today? Let's make sure that we tackle that first thing tomorrow. If I get a call from someone while I'm in a call, I just have an auto response in a call or return the call as soon as possible or in a meeting. I'll get to this before the end of the day. So that's real easy to do. If you can multitask and multi function, we can be on a call right now. I could have something come in on my phone, pop in and I can answer it while I'm on the call with you. I want with you because we're in a, you know, 15 minute session, but you can do that. It's just most people don't want to work that hard. They just, they don't see the sense of urgency. And I'm telling you now, if you're in, if it's a big ticket pro and you're out to sell big ticket deals or you're in sales, period, if you don't respond to your client, customer or potential lead or potential buyer, same day, they'll go find somebody that will, period. [00:05:28] Speaker A: Even not even the same, in the same day, in the same. Within the hour or two. [00:05:33] Speaker B: It's not hard. It could be done. If you can't do it, you're just making excuses. [00:05:39] Speaker A: Wow. It, I love this. I, it seems like you're a very organized person and for you to start working at 4am so that you can tackle everything from, from to, from 4 to 9. How does the rest of your of their day look like for you? [00:05:55] Speaker B: I'm not done till about six or seven at night and it's most of my time spent right here in this desk, you know, and the day flies by. You know, my wife will bring me down some lunch. She'll tell me when dinner's ready. That's usually around six. And you know, she comes down in the morning to say hello with the dogs. So I got to say hello, rub their bellies, you know, give them a little treat. And then I have a family that lets me do what I need to do because they know what I'm building. I'm building an empire. So four, four of my family members work for us in our company, run our back office, administration, our investor relations director. I also travel a couple times a month to events and do sponsorships. I do speaking engagements around the country. I just keep a full schedule. But you know what I find? If you stay busy and active, you don't know what to do with yourself when you're not busy. So even when people like you need to slow down, take some time, relax, I'm like, why? Why? Yeah, I mean, I don't know what to do with myself if I'm not working, what am I going to get? Do game or watch some stupid TV show? You know, I mean, I got better things to do and that's making money. I'm, I get in a conversation with a bunch of guys. You know, when I get into groups and like everybody's talking sports and stats and this player and that coach and I'm, and they're like, what do you think Rockstar. I'm like, I don't watch sports. What? Like, I got better things to do. I'd rather play the game. [00:07:22] Speaker A: Yes. [00:07:22] Speaker B: Watch somebody else do it. So it's just all a matter of what you want out of life. You can do it. You can be organized. E. Email, inbox management, quick automated responses by text to a call or text. And then tackle all the things that you can that day. And what you can't just let people know that you'll get back to them probably first thing tomorrow. And that means that puts them off. That just, that puts them at bay. They're like, okay, he reached out. I'm. He's busy. That's good. But. And then do what you say you're going to do. If you say you're going to get back tomorrow and you don't, you lose them. [00:07:58] Speaker A: I think that's, that's a single really great advice. Just don't do anything else until you're done with that. And what you said about the Post IT notes everywhere, it resonated with me because if I put everything like on my phone or on. Look, I could not survive without this notebook. [00:08:21] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:08:23] Speaker A: And when I forget to use it, it's. It's chaos. It's total chaos. [00:08:27] Speaker B: Yeah. It's so good crossing it off at the end of the day and rewriting that list because I have to. Or otherwise I get too many pages in. But I don't like more than one page of inbox emails. I don't like more than one page on a notebook. For the. I have three notebooks for three different companies that, that need that kind of management. But. And it's just, it's. It's just how I manage business. People like you do what I said. I run my business. I'll post notes in a notebook and they're like, no, you don't. I'm like, well, ask my clients why they've been with me for 5, 10, 15, 20 years and they haven't gone elsewhere and they send me referrals all the time. [00:09:07] Speaker A: And you're in nine businesses, right? [00:09:09] Speaker B: Yes. With your probably 29 LLCs. [00:09:15] Speaker A: That's with your post it notes. I was, I was saying. [00:09:18] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:09:18] Speaker A: Yes. [00:09:19] Speaker B: Yeah. It's fun. I enjoy it though. Keeps me young. I don't feel 56. I don't feel like I should be retiring and getting into a rocking chair in the living room with an afghan over my lap and watching prices. Right. Free runs or something like that, you know? [00:09:37] Speaker A: No, he wants that. [00:09:38] Speaker B: I'm gonna work Till the day I die. I'm not going to retire. Would. Wouldn't know what to do with myself. [00:09:43] Speaker A: That's super refreshing. So Brennan, tell us about who you serve and how people can reach out to you. [00:09:50] Speaker B: So easy to find us. We have a website, rockstar capital fund.com A lot of information on there. We work with investors of all types, accredited, non accredited, sophisticated investors. People can invest with us for as little as $10,000. Our average annual return to our investors is somewhere around 13 to 18%. We beat the stock market every year. We're an SEC compliant, regulated offering. I got to send my financials up and do a third party CPA audit every single year. And we've never missed a distribution and we've never paid less than we've offered. Best way to find us is going to there first. You can, you know, click on the contact us info at Rockstar Capital Fund. That's the best way to kind of make your entry. I'm one of those guys that I believe that we help enough other people succeed that it allows us to have all the success that we look for. Kind of like what Zig Ziglar talks about. And if someone wants to reach out to me for advice, keep in mind, if it's not directly related to my business, it could be 24, 36 hours before I get back to you. But if there's people out there that you know, are looking for a little guidance or assistance or you know, picking my brain, so to speak, reach out. You know, I'll see if we can't help you all become better. Because if we make other people better, then we make this a better world. And for God's sake, if someone helps you, then pay it forward. And always remember, if you're fortunate enough to be a big ticket pro and you're making a six figure income, for God's sakes, be charitable. You know, get a tax write off, but also help those that are a little less fortunate and pick some really good sponsor charities to sponsor. I sponsor anything to do with dogs. I'm a sucker for dogs and I'm a veteran. So I sponsor a lot of things for veterans and then children with disabilities. So I kind of mix it up and sponsor a bunch of different things. I never just put it all in one place, but be charitable, do what you say you're going to do. Reach out to us if you're just interested in putting some of those big ticket commissions to work so that you can have passive income. And I can show you how we taught our clients to have their passive income outdo their earned income. So for those that want to retire, they have. And I've retired some of my clients early, so that's the best way to get us. [00:12:16] Speaker A: Awesome. So we're going to wrap it up here. [00:12:39] Speaker A: If it's not me, who, if it's. [00:12:41] Speaker B: Not now, when you got one for me right there. [00:12:45] Speaker A: Thank you.
