[email protected] that's getconversions.net Today's guest is Sam Kim.
With a plumbing background for 20 years, getting electrocuted and a new vision about what new the world looks like. After that experience, Sam had a calling to do what he is supposed to do, to remind people there's no fear of death and whatever is happening in your life is for your own purpose and for your own human evolution. So Sam, so excited that you're here. Welcome to Big Ticket Pros.
[00:01:08] Speaker B: Thank you for your time. Thank you for this opportunity.
[00:01:11] Speaker A: Thank you for being here. So Sam, what is the best piece of advice you would give to someone just starting out in your industry?
[00:01:18] Speaker B: To be them their own self, be as authentic as possible and don't be afraid to be different, to stand out and to have a clear vision where you want to achieve and learn as you go as much as you can and just have a clear mindset of what you want or what you want to achieve.
And if you work at it and you put your intention to it, it'll come to you naturally.
[00:01:50] Speaker A: I love that there's so much to unpack here because they were like a lot you said there be as authentic as possible. Don't be afraid to be different, don't be afraid to stand out. Have a vision of where you want to go and have you a clear mindset of what to achieve. So it's, it's a lot of different components here and something that I have talked a little bit about in this show with other guests is to have your vision of where you want to go. Have your, let's call it a North Star, you know, your why, your purpose. But also I like what you mentioned about being authentic, as authentic as possible because number one, authenticity sales. But number two, and this is something that I have been thinking about a lot, I guess, in the past couple months is to be authentic to yourself, but to your values, to your core values. Because we can be authentic to ourself. Like our moods shift, you know, so I can be authentic to my angry self or to my happy self or to my sad self, but that will always shift. But if I'm always authentic to my values, that never shifts. And maybe I'm just like segwaying a little bit. But like, what do you think?
[00:03:13] Speaker B: No, I could agree with you, but if you have a clear value of who you are and know what you stand for, you can't go wrong with that.
And the more you become yourself, you're more comfortable in your own skin where you don't have to put on a show or be someone else in front of someone or this group.
And most of the times I truly feel during this time there's too many fluffy things around, there's too many very similar type of attributes with a lot of other people.
But if you stand out, just be a little different and just be your true self, I think your vibe would attract your tribes. And I try to be real and honest with myself and take full responsibility for all the actions that I take. And in terms of doing that, it gets easier and the uncomfortability becomes comfortable where you could just be yourself without even having to try.
And I think that's very valuable of whatever you do in life, especially in business, work, even friendship, just puts a glow around you where you don't have to try and you just emit a frequency of energy, of just pure essence of who you truly are.
[00:04:39] Speaker A: I love that I, I, I love all those things that you said, you know, like don't put on a show and try to be someone else.
Just like be yourself because you're unique and just take ownership and be of, of what you do and what you are and be accountable.
I have this question, or do you have any advice for people who are trying to find the values that they aligned with?
[00:05:22] Speaker B: Well, I would say you have to really, truly cut out the world because there's too many distractions that's all around us, especially on our social media.
And if you cut all the distractions around you, you could concentrate about yourself even more directly.
And when you start to get more comfortable in your own skin, you'll have less burdens or less obstacles that will come along the way. Or if there is more obstacles or difficulty in your life, you'll know how to maneuver through these tough times in more effortless way because you're not trying.
Because innately we all have an intuition that we all listen to. And if you listen to your own self, you can't go wrong.
[00:06:26] Speaker A: Yes.
And you know, it stands out to me, this phrase that you used, get comfortable in your own skin.
And that made me think sometimes there's new things that we're doing that we have to do. Right. If we have a business, we have to do sales, maybe. And maybe we're not ready to do sales. It's not comfortable.
But we will never be comfortable if we don't do it, if we don't practice. Like if, you know, I'm a very big believer that confidence comes from action. Like maybe the first time I did a call or a podcast or something, whatever, I didn't know what I was doing and I was probably terrified.
But if I didn't start somewhere, I wouldn't practice those skills. I wouldn't be learning in, in that, like that confidence came from the action of. All right, I, I gotta do this.
[00:07:38] Speaker B: Yes, I definitely agree with you. I mean, and always if you're trying different things, it puts more value in yourself as well because you're developing your own skill set in a different way.
You're looking at things in a different angle, a different point of view. Because if you're doing the same thing over and over again and not being in a uncomfortable position, you're not going to go, you're going to stay stuck and you're just going to be doing repetitive similar things in life where it's just like you're in a hamster wheel or you're just going to be trapped in the matrix if they say so it's really being okay, being uncomfortable, trying different things to expand your mind or your awareness of other things out there beyond what you're capable of. And who knows, maybe you're better then you're capable of doing the different things. So you just have to try. You can't just be one minded, you have to be multi dimensional in terms of being your true self. Because we all have different values of understandings and how we want to grow. And if we keep doing repetitive similar things, that's a little boring in my eyes. And you're not going to really go anywhere, in my opinion. So.
[00:08:59] Speaker A: And I think it's also a good exercise for the brain, you know, to be, as you mentioned, multi dimensional.
[00:09:06] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:09:07] Speaker A: For the plasticity of the brain.
[00:09:09] Speaker B: Yeah. I mean, again, like they said, if you learn different things, you get this more wrinkles in your brain. And with the wrinkles, there's more, less resistance of the fluid to go through. It's like the path of least resistance. But even though we are doing uncomfortable, unusual things, we figure it out as a mechanic. From plumbing point of view, the definition of a mechanic is just someone who figures it out. And if you really put your mind to something that you want to try to accomplish, somehow, some way, we figure it out.
[00:09:50] Speaker A: I love that. I love that. How, if you really want to accomplish, like if, when there's a will, there's a way.
[00:09:55] Speaker B: Absolutely. I agree.
[00:09:58] Speaker A: Sometimes I feel like I sound like an old woman with all my little, like, when there's a will, worse, there's a way. But it's, I think it's true.
[00:10:05] Speaker B: It's very true. I don't think you're old. I think you're probably an old soul that just remembers a couple of things from previous life to now maybe.
[00:10:13] Speaker A: That's really kind of you.
So, Sam, tell us about who you serve and how people can reach out to you.
[00:10:21] Speaker B: Well, I have Instagram and Facebook.
For Instagram, is galactical the galactic medium or on Facebook? Sam Kim or if they want to reach me out and email, they could email me at Sam Kim lightforce lighthouse.com and right now I'm still developing my own personal business.

I just like to help people in their own way because everyone has their own different skill sets, but it's just me reminding people of some things they forgot or they don't look over.
